Club Objectives
The National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS) program recognizes the outstanding artistic abilities and talents of its students while inspiring them to continue to learn and develop outside the classroom. Students participate in a range of activities, including but not limited to, extracurricular art projects, scenery painting for the school musical, school beautification projects, and art contests.

Club Goals
Goals of the organization include:
- To foster both excellence & dedication to the pursuit of art.
- To enhance the creative abilities and talents of the members as well as the entire student body.
- To promote the attainment of personal artistic goals.
- To inspire and recognize those students who have an outstanding ability in art.
- To increase awareness of art among the student body.
- To bring art to the attention of the school community.

Meeting Dates
The application meeting for Junior Art Honor Society will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 after school in room 802.At this meeting, the process for applying for JAHS will be reviewed. If you cannot make the meeting, please see or email Mr. Ryan ([email protected]).There will be a Google Classroom in which all application materials will be located. That information will be released at the September 18 meeting. Students will need to obtain physical application materials from Mr. Ryan in 802.All students must apply to join this honor society. The application is a combination of written answers, Google forms, and a short essay and a portfolio of artworks.Meetings will be held on Wednesday afternoons at least twice a month.Club Meeting Dates for members:
