Club Objectives
Meeting LocationRoom 100Thursdays 3-4pmBegins October 5, 2023Mission Statement / InformationChamber Orchestra is a club dedicated to refining and perfecting orchestra skills and advanced string techniques. It is designed to give students the opportunity of performing more advanced music in a smaller ensemble setting. Acceptance is available to all 6-8th grade students who are enrolled in the full year orchestra elective. Admission is by audition only; auditions will take place the first week of October. Sign ups will be posted in google classroom.Club Goals / ObjectivesStudents will explore the many benefits and joys of performing advanced string repertoire in a small ensemble.Audition InformationCurrent members*: Seating auditions will take place the first week of October.New members: Auditions for new members will take place the first week of October.A sign up form will be available during orchestra class. Audition material will be distributed in class prior to auditions.*Students who were members of Chamber Orchestra in the 2022-2023 school year will be required to audition for the 2023-2024 school year for seating purposes only.

Club Activities
Chamber Orchestra will perform at all orchestra concerts as well as compete in the Music in the Parks annual competition in May. Other performances TBD will be announced throughout the year.
