       The school days continue to be busy. Our trip to Allaire State Park was a huge success. The day was perfect and we found out how difficult life was back in the 1800s.  The third graders are happy to be in the year 2024. Many thanks to the PTA for making this trip possible for us!

       As the weeks have gone by, we have practiced recounting stories and analyzing the characters and their actions. We are writing responses with supporting details and summarizing informational text. In math, we are continuing work with the multiplication facts and problem solving. Our social studies units involve the study of communities, geography, and Native Americans.

       The highlight of our initial weeks together was our first marble party. Everyone enjoyed reading outside and sharing books with friends. We are all hoping to earn another one soon!
