The U.S. Department of Education has started a “soft launch” of the 2024-2025 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The new FAFSA form is available on their website: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
During the “soft launch,” the 24-25 FAFSA will be available for students and contributors to complete for short periods of time each day. There will be periods of time where the form is not available. Please continue to check back with the website if that is the case.
ALL STUDENTS who plan on attending any type of post secondary education (4 year, 2 year, vocational school) should complete and submit a FAFSA. Even if your family does not qualify for federal or state aid, individual colleges CANNOT award aid (merit, needed based, etc) without a FAFSA being completed.
