Hello Parents and Guardians!

Welcome to an exciting 2024-2025 school year! I want to formally introduce myself as Old Mill School’s Family Liaison Counselor. Old Mill School has been my home since the 2000-2001 school year, where I have had the pleasure of teaching first, second, and most recently, third grade. Having been in the classroom for numerous years has allowed me to build a strong rapport with students and family members, staff, and also the community.

During this school year, Old Mill School students and staff will focus on kind and respectful behavior toward each other daily. The character education curriculum implemented by me will incorporate these traits and be carried out through classroom lessons. Outside of classroom lessons, I will be supporting students in different ways, which may include "Lunch Bunch" groups and individual counseling times.  Parents will be contacted before students participate in lessons outside of the whole group class lessons.
