  • Cailyn Gilvary, Social Worker
    [email protected]

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from NYU and my Bachelor's from Ramapo College of New Jersey. This is my 13th year with Wall School District and my 18th working as a School Social Worker. I am a member of the Child Study Team and work as a School Social Worker.  Some of my responsibilities include case management, counseling, and crisis intervention.  My main goal is to provide social-emotional support to our students to help them achieve academic and emotional growth throughout their time at Wall Schools.  Just a personal tidbit- I am obsessed with my Mini-Goldendoodle, Mr. Finely, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.  I love exploring the kitchen and watching professional sports (as well as supporting all Wall students and athletes). I advise WIS Student Council and co-advise the WIS Diversity Club.  I also have the wonderful opportunity to work as the District SELect Leader assisting with the implementation of the 7 Mindsets! Please feel free to reach out to me at any time.

Dana Hanlon, Learning Disabilities Teacher - Consultant

I am the Learning Consultant on the Child Study Team at Wall Intermediate School. Prior to starting here, I was a teacher for 14 years in another local school district. I am excited to have made the transition into this new role and look forward to working with students and families this year! As a part of the Child Study Team, I am here to support students in their learning goals and work with families as they navigate their way through middle school. I conduct educational testing and work closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and students to develop the best educational program possible to assist students in reaching any goal they would like to achieve. I live in Point Pleasant with my husband, son, and our chocolate lab, Duke. When I am not at school, I am at my son's sporting events, enjoying the beach or walking the boardwalk. I look forward to working with you this year!

    Laurie Koplin, Speech-Language Pathologist

I am the Speech and Language Therapist here at Wall Intermediate School.  I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Stockton State and my Master’s Degree from Kean College. I also hold a supervisor certificate which was obtained from Georgian Court University.  I have been working in Wall for 31 years and working in the field since 1990.  I am truly passionate about my students and absolutely love my job. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time outdoors with my husband, my son Michael, and our two dogs.  Michael is currently a sophomore attending Wall High School and plays in the marching band. I am currently the Assistant Varsity cheering coach at the High School. So come to a game on a Friday night and support our teams.  If I see you on the field make sure to say hi. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s speech and language please do not hesitate to reach out!

Welcome everyone! This is my 23rd year in the district working as a school psychologist on the Child Study Team. In addition to my Child Study Team duties of case management and assessment, I enjoy counseling and helping students to navigate the transition to their post-high school careers, whether their goals include continued education or joining the workforce. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my three grown children. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time at the beach.
